Chile earthquake aftershocks followed 11

Within 2.5 hours after an earthquake measuring 8.8 on the Richter scale shook Chile, the U.S. Geological Survey recorded 11 aftershocks. Five of them magnitude 6.0 or more SR. The main quake lasted 90 seconds.
